MAS 2017 / 18
Robotic Drawing was a two-day workshop exploring the potential of creating physical drawings through the controlled movement of a robotic arm. Students were introduced into simple robotic control and programming which allowed them to directly translate their concepts into a robotic path. By designing and building their own end-effectors, they could work with different drawing and painting techniques and develop their pieces through iterations of physical testing and scripting. The results have been presented in form of drawings as well as in a live demonstration of the drawing procedure that was developed.
